Diversity Awards
MAG's own Debora McDell-Hernandez (second from left) was among the members of the Latino Professional Alliance (LPA) honored at the University of Rochester's first annual Presidential Diversity Awards.
LPA's mission is to "support the growth and development of Latinos/Latinas through networking, mentoring, educational and professional programs, community service, multicultural events and diversity awareness." At MAG, group members have served on the advisory committee for Hispanic Heritage Family Day, volunteered at the Clothesline Festival and served as bilingual greeters for the 2008 opening of TRANsactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art.
